450 Motor pinion

Hey guys!

Now that I have everything, I want to know about motor pinion.. The one I have I think Is 11T.. I have another exi 12 or 13 t lying around...

The motor bl3500 comes with a 14 I think.. Is higher better?? It means higher head speed.. But will that mean more stress?? Should I upgrade the pinion on the clone... (I think it's 11t on alpha400)... Please let me know..

You need to calculate your head speed with each pinion. I have videos on how to calculate the head speed with a certain kv motor, and battery. You will have to look up the max head speed for your helicopter though, as I don't know it.

Shoot for 3200-3300 rpm. That is ideal.
