4.8 will slow down the servos, but it's safer. However, you can get any BEC rated at least 9v in and 5-6v out and you will be golden. But that battery you are wanting to use is going to be quite heavy. In my opinion, I would find a 6v Rx pack made for the heli. They have 4.8 and 6v packs, but most are NiMh.
