Quad Mavic question

So I picked up a DJI Mavic and thinking of buying the care refresh warranty. The plan covers water damage and I plan to fly over water often. So my question is, if for some reason the craft goes in over water, will it sink? And if it sinks how do I get it replaced?? lol I guess I need a life preserver for it..

It will more than likely sink, and if it does, and the water is deep or large enough, kiss your $1000 quad goodbye.

Or have floats on it.

Even if you got it back I don't think sinking it in the drink will be covered as "water damage".

Typically flying over water is a risk a pilot must be willing to accept.

I bought the "care refresh" warranty and it will cover water damage up to 2 times. But there is a $79 dollar deductible the first time and a $129 deductible the second time. Sounds like Apple care doesn't it??? lol

Yea but still. I would get it kind of scratched up a bit, just enough where you know it has had some use, them I would take it for a swim, and get a new one lmao. Kidding! lmao
