I live in a 3rd floor condo so sometimes I'll fly my helis out the slider and past the balcony to fly around a bit. Tonight I was doing the same and since it was dark the only thing I could see was the red led light on the brain board. As I was flying I let the heli get too far away and eventually I got disoriented. I tried to orient the heli again so I could spot her, but she got away from me. Sadly, I never regained control and I'm not sure where I crashed. I went out with my TX hoping to turn the motor and find her by sound, but alas it was no use. I think my 120SR may be gone forever.
I'll go out in the morning and search again, but this is high foot and car traffic area so I'm not holding out much hope. Next time you crack a beer pour out a sip for our fallen bird.
