Hey Graham,

Thought I would start this post to assist you to solve your Sound issue.

Tell me ..... do you have sound when running in single mode?

take a screen shot of your Sound in your system settings in Phoenix..... Mine looks like this..... try matching that and see what happens if you try to duplicate.

Try Changing the top bar to 50% and see if you can hear..... are you sure you have Sound Library as XAudio?

also make sure you go to the multi-player tab when you are online and make sure you have

the below ticked:

This all has to do with lag on the internet. That is what is causing the issues. I was online with westy while he was eating dinner, then Derek came on, and Westy's side of it was using up all the bandwidth causing Derek and I to have MAJOR delays in our audio. We started a new session, and the issue was resolved.

If your on windows, click on the start button they type in "cmd" and open up the command box. In there, type "Ping rc-help.com". You should be getting a ping of about 30ms at most. If you are over 1000ms, then there is a bad lag somewhere. Anything higher than 300 is bad when it comes to your ping.

Cool deal Boki. I'm online with phoenix right now. RcHelp is the room, rchelpdotcom is the password. Come on in and we will test that mic.

I got 142 ping time .... which is not bad when it has to hop through quite a few ISPs to get there.

Hi Westy, i went through all the setting changes last time with no luck. Tony,s lag thing might be right. I will be on tomorrow morning(20.11 here now), so i will ping rc-help and check settings. I have heard everyone on it before but no one can here me, and on skype my mike worked fine:)

Click on multiplayer in the sim when you are logged on to the sim on the internet, voice over Voice Chat and make sure Enabled AND Voice activated is checked. That is what the issue ended up being on Dave's side.

And to check your ping, go to speedtest.net and check it there. It will give you YOUR ping, and not your ping PLUS the forum ping times.
