450 How much motor power should I be using when hovering / training

Hi guys just a quickie. what % of power should I set on my radio for hover training exercises and novice work. Im on 60-65 % in that region.

On my set up I can hover at 65% with a ton of head room. I have a 131T main gear with an 11T pinion. So it just depends on your motor pinion and main gear.

Hovering is more head speed than pitch. You will be somewhere in the ball park of 5% pitch but at 65% of your motors power.
