ESC Hobbywing Rpm Sensor

Hi,
Hobby wing RPM sensor
I am using Hobbywing Platinum 60A ESC for 450 Heli with IKON 2 FBL. like to go for Governor setup. for that like to buy HW RPM Sensor. I found two types
1. RPM Sensor For High-Voltage ESC
RPM Sensor For High-Voltage ESC - HOBBYWING North America
2. RPM & Telemetry Signal Coupler Module (SCM)
RPM & Telemetry Signal Coupler Module (SCM) - HOBBYWING North America
by reading the description item # 2 found is good. but don't know how to connect. Please help.

Quite honestly, you don't need to purchase an external RPM sensor. Hobbywing has a fantastic Governor built into the ESC that works awesome. I think every member on here that runs hobbywing ESC's and runs a governor just uses the internal gov. I know I do.

Yeah, the internal HW governor is great. I used it when I was running HW ESCs, and it was flawless.

If its the platinum v4 then you don't need one. It's built into the esc. Plug the white single wire into the ikon2.

Unless it's a just because (like me) then you don't I need to run anything other than the hobby wing. I run the Neo governor just because. No other reason. When I did have the hobbywing governor set it was flawless. Well as far as I could tell it was flawless.

Just make sure your setup is spot on before adding the governor. The gov will add some weird negative tendencies.
