HK450GT Crash (Translational Lift)

Hey guys. I have been doing a lot of reading here lately, and I found out why the heli dropped like a rock. There is what is called "Translational Lift". If you notice, when you pitch forward going into the wind, without any pitch input, the heli will lift up into the air. But, if you are going away from the wind, you will lose altitude. That is exactly what happened in this video. I just didn't give it enough pitch, and didn't anticipate the heli dropping out of the air like it did.

This has been another Rc-Help Live & Learn Production
