I found your site from watching tony's 3gx setup video which was much easier then reading it in the manual. Now i have a problem with it. It wont go out of rate mode no matter what i do. I posted what i tried in another forum with all the details. Hope i can get this figured out and get some pics to share on here. Its a very nice trex 700 gasser conversion sitting next to me as i type this its just frustrating that i havent gotten it in the air yet. I wasnt comfortable with the gyro issues i was having.

in your TX normally gain under 50 is rate mode , have you checked this and above is HH

Yep i have tried changing that all around. I went from +70 to -70 and it never changed on the unit.

is your gain connected to the correct channel? or is it in the TX connected to the correct channel?

Yes they are both the same. Im using gear on the receiver and gear in the transmitter on a 2 stage switch to change from rate mode to heading hold mode.
