600 HELP! - I Ordered the Wrong Pinions Trex 600 ESP

You would have to have clearance built in to the machining, if the shaft is 6mm the hole can't be 6mm or you will not get it on, you need the internal dimension of a finished 6mm pinion, with tolerances being so close on heli's I don't know if I would trust it.

they said it would be too expensive.... tried a drill press.... no good all out of alignment .... spun it by hand and it looked like the shaft was bent, put the original back on and all was true and no runout.

Might try the lathe and see what happens..... got 3 of them left to destroy .... no good to me otherwise
