FBL Gyro gp790 delay setting

I am preparing to build a trex 450 sport V2 with a ds 420 rudder servo and gp790 gyro.
Question: should I set the delay to 0?
I do not completely understand what delay does? :dejection
Thank you.

Go with 0 to start. If you notice a tail control oscillation that can't be corrected with gain adjustment then you may need to go to a higher delay setting. On that setup, though, it should not be needed. Typically only used if you're using a slow servo or it is a large heli with under performing tail setup (smaller than ideal blades, blades with a lot of flex, poor mechanical setup resulting in sluggish rudder controls, etc.).

The classic signs of a tail that needs delay is when you stop turning the tail it doesn't stop immediately but bounces back. But with a good digital tail servo, 0 delay should work.
