I just wanted to let you all know, the forum will be going down for a while as we update the forum software. I do not have a date or time at this time of when we will do this, however it will likely be a spur of the moment thing as between myself and Ken, the timeframe when we both have time is quite limited.
As I'm sure you all have noticed, the Articles section has been removed from the site. There is something somewhere that is causing the site to severely slow down, and when I turn it off, everything is working perfectly. I have looked for hours and cannot find what is causing the issue. The site thinks the web pages are loading very fast (< 0.02 seconds) however looking at what is happening, the TTFB (Time To First Byte) can be as high as 7 seconds, sometimes 15, and we had one member that told me it took 5 minutes for a page to load.
Well, I have always prided myself on the site being quick and responsive and always worked to make it faster. So I have purchased an update that will make the forum look completely different, and it will have a new "article" section. This new "article" section (I say that because it is not really an article system, it is a Resource Manager) will have many improvements including a better way to provide files to the members that are looking to download files such as firmware or PDF's.
If you have any questions before (or after) the update, please post up in here and let me know. I will do my best to provide as much information about this change as I can.
