Quad First Autonomous Flight

Yup, that's right I am about to do my first fully autonomous flight with my new old woody.

New because I just rebuilt it, old because it originally flew probably over a year ago, only it's now been on a major diet.
I took over 300 grams off it and drastically reduced its overall size.

It is so overpowered that as yet I have been afraid of giving it full throttle.
This thing is a mini monster.
Something I have noticed is that vibrations are nowhere near as much of a problem with the wood frame.
It seems to absorb them. My plastic armed quads seem to amplify them.

I have yet to decide on prop size but when I do I'll change to CF, then I can start giving it some. :)
It has 1100kv 330w Turnigy motors and currently 8x4.5 props running on a 4s 5000 Zippy compact.
I have a HK crius clone running Megapirate which I am brand new to.
Much more configuring to do than a KK2.
I am slowly coming to grips with it, it flies really well in acro and stabilize modes.
Alt hold and loiter are not as smooth but getting better all the time.
I have done several RTL tests and am happy with the results thus far.

On the weekend, weather permitting, I intend to do a simple 1 waypoint then RTL test starting in the air and if successful, will do a full takeoff, go to waypoints, RTL and land sequence.
There WILL be video, both onboard and external. :p
