I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later......and that day was today.
I came out of a loop real fast and the heli got far from me. The sun didn´t help to recover orientation. Anyway, I keep it high trying to win some time to find out where was the nose or tail or anything....but something happened, all of a sudden it went down like a rock.
By the way, this happen after the two flights I had done with the camera attached.

Damage report:
-Canopy all cracked yet I thing I'll be able to patch it and use it for a while.
-Broken landing skid
-Broken torque tube
-Blades are of course uselss
-Bent main and feathering shafts
-Broken tail boom braces
-Tail gear has like only 5 teeth left LOL

...and that was what I could check right after the crash, I guess I'll re check it in detail tomorrow (tho dont want to!!)

Wow, sad sight there amigo! It happens to all of us sooner or later! Oh well, as the others have said, duct tape and some spares and you'll be in the air soon again!

Out of interest, did you hit throttle hold when things went wrong?

Well, after drying the tears I realized there was work to be done, and started doing it.
I found out the tail rotor axe was crooked and the main gear was missing teeth like an old man.
You know what the good part was? My flying buddies, since they know I had no enough money for spare parts, gave me what I needed till I get paid at the end of the month. And It's people I meet like three weeks ago! This is another face of the hobby I never thought of...
Anyways, here are a few more pics of the damage after the fall and one of the heli, repaired in its 90% Hopefully, it'll be flying this sunday!
