I've finally got this soldering thing figured out! Got my new soldering iron today! And it worked like a charm!

These are the Battery and ESC connections for my 450! Also put a male Deans on my Blade 400 to also be able to use these three batteries!

Yeah definitely bro! I was soooo excited when it was soooo easy just like Tony said it would be once I got a new iron! And it sure was! I cheated a little by using flux, but hey it worked really good for me!

Looks good. You will probably want to reheat those up again.you want the solder to flow nicely from the wire to the connector. You can see it more in your Red connection. A bit more solder and the iron on the connector blade will give you a continuous flow of solder.

You can see the flow I am referring to in the top of the picture. Yours look a bit more like the ones below, but for your first time, they look great.
Applying the iron to the blade will help to get the flow you are looking for.

That is not bad but i still like the ES3 connectors no need to use shirnk tube and it work very well, good job DAL2855
