General esc question

hey guys, Im starting this whole 3gx thing from scratch. i have so may problems. what i am going to focus on frist is the esc, do I need to program it. and if so how what do i need to do ? and if i dont have to do anything does it program as you as setting up the 3gx the, all this electric stuff is so ne to me coming from nitro.

Nope, you don't have to do anything with the ESC. Your throttle end points will be done in the gyro's Governor settings, which you must do, even if you are not going to run a Gov.
