ESC Edge or Edge HV?

I apologize if this topic is a repeat... But I'm going to replace a Talon 90 from an Align 550dfc... What's the difference in edge and edge hv? What would be best in a 550 6s setup?

Both are CC ESC's, it's just one is good to 12 or 14 cells instead of just 6. The 550, however, was built to run on 6s though so you should be fine with teh standard Edge. However, if you wish to put this ESC on a 600, you might want to dump the extra coin for the HV. I'm pretty sure you can run a 6s on the HV, but you can not run a 12s on the standard.

Yeah, either one will work on the 6s 550 class helis. I have a CC ICE2 120HV on my 6s setup 550X and it works great.
