Its real 24 ct gold leaf. So the devaluation of the DX8 is compensated for by the Gold LOL

Lee that's the colour i'm looking for my next glider. Is it spray or brush?

First i covered it in Gold leaf.
Then sprayed a light coat of lacquer. Sprinkled on some gold flake, more lacquer.
Left it over night. Sanded with 1200 grit wet and dry then 4 coats of lacquer to give it some depth.
It looks a lot better in person than in the pics.

You will be able to spot your radio before you can see yourself in your FPV flights. Looks good with the sun coming in on it too. Well done.
