Spektrum DX5e usb cable

Is there a place to get a DX5e usb cable for rc flight sims. I would like to use my 5e to learn how and practice flying. Also will most sims recognize the 5e? I have been using a game pad and would like to start using my tx. I am using some of the free sims to practice on. I am downloading the heli-x sim to try it out.

I will be checking that out. I just cant see spending $129 for a sim and cable when I can get a sim for cheaper off the net. Down side it is not six channel, but I can continue to work on my basic flight skills in the mean time.
