Setups DJI iOSD not overlaying... immediately

When i power up my hex that is built on Naza M V2 / iOSD, I don't immediately get an overlay from the iOSD. I have to disconnect the video input line to the iOSD, connect it back and then, and only then, does it work. Very curious problem. Anyone experience this situation?

Hope i didn't scare away any responses with the "immediately" in my title. I didn't mean i need an immediate answer, i meant the iOSD wasn't overlaying as soon as power was connected. :)

But all in all, not sure what the problem was. works fine now. Just trying to figure out now why it won't overlay iOSD on my Gopro video signal.
