It was a bit on the windy side (8mph with 13mph gusts) today as you can tell from the video, but if dont fly in the wind i'll never fly at all.

Looking good. Flying in wind is helpful for improving skills, I think. And, as you say, if you don't learn to do it, you'll never fly. Calm days are rare around here too. :)

thanks lee. I've sorted a club out (at last) I will be going for the first time on sunday, im hoping that it will bring my flying on being with other pilots. I'm getting as much sim time in as possible practicing orientation and figure 8's, ive done about a hour today sort of getting the hang of figure 8, i seem to be getting more control every time i fly/sim. Its a steep slow learning curve.
