450 Converting from 3GX to Spektrum AR7200BX

Hi Everyone,

I just received my new AR7200BX controller and will be converting over to it from the stock Align 3GX unit. I was wondering if it would be possible to install the BX controller in the same location (underneath by skids) or should I plan on mounting the the BX controller on the platform up by the rotor?? I was thinking the upper platform would be easier to make adjustments long term but my wiring is all routed headed to the skid area. Any thoughts or suggestion please?

As long as it will fit between the frame, you should be fine on the bottom.

I couldn't make the ar7200 fit between the frame, i was forced to put it up top.
