So, I just took my 250 outside to record some flying before the sun went down. I was using my iPod Nano attached to a headlamp. Got inside after a pretty good flight to find that I ran out of storage and nothing was recorded. :(

Moral of the story, check batteries and storage space before you fly.

The good news is that my 250 really loves the new motor and overall the heli is much quieter. I wanted to get the lack of noise recorded for Tony, but this will have to wait til tomorrow.

As for the flight, I was flying a bit low, and as I spun the heli around, the wind between the buildings died down and the heli dropped like a rock. I corrected with some collective, but not before the tail dug an impressive arc in the winter rye grass and flung mud everywhere. I don't know how she stayed in the air or how the belt wasn't damaged. I guess I can say I mowed grass now. :D
