450 blade 400

Hi everyone
I know its been awhile since i have been here. Been busy with life and flying.
I have a question here that i just want your OPINION on
I bought a blade 400 3D and yes i can fly helis, i had to put in the servo's receiver. I am still in the stage of tuning the pitch.
This heli uses " eflite 420" 3800kv brushless motor, and i'm using a 3s 15 cell batt. The motor max load is 25 - 30 AMPS.
I have a 35AMP heli ESC. The question/OPINION is , do you think the 35 AMP esc is good enough to use or do you think i should go higher?
I know that Tony says go double the max load for the ESC. Just courious

If the max load on the motor is 30amps, you'd have to be pushing hard to hit that. So having a 35amp ESC should give you no problems. Just keep a check on the temp of it for the first few flights. If its getting hot to the touch, then you could up the size of the ESC.
