Bewildered new person.

Hi all,
Used to fly control line as a kid with old diesel type engines. Spent time flying glow engined RC in the 1970's, but nothing of a modelling nature since then.
Boy have things changed.
I've just bought a Flying Flea electric RC, thought I'd start small and easy and work my way up, and am getting my head around engine/battery/esc issues that never existed last time I flew these things.
Anyway, this site looks like a great depository of knowledge so I hope my ageing skills are up to the task.
