General Batteries C Rating! Higher better!

I have a Trex450 SE V2 & want to get some new batteries for it ! How high of a C rating should I buy! Is the C rating higher make the battery better? Not worried about cost!

The C rating is the discharge rating for the battery. The motor may be pulling 12c from a 25c pack, but if you go to a 65c, you will still only be pulling 12c from it. IMO, I would get a 45c 2200mah 3s and call it done. You will never have to worry about it again in a 450 heli.

Think of it like a Mini and a Porsche. Both can do 100MPH but the mini engine will be working hard to keep that speed whereas the Porsche will just be cruising.

Good analogy Lee, i use 35C 2550 on mine, charging them as i type
