After seeing the TREX 500 landing gear on Mda's thread I couldn't resist the temptation to go and buy a set for my 450L, looks heaps better than the stock units, and after fitting them I checked the C of G and it was still spot on. Great idea Lee.
I really believe they suit the 450 better than the standard units
They definitely look the part.
It gives 38mm or 1 1/2 inches of ground clearance to the tail rotor, a big bonus, which will hopefully look after the front torque tube drive gears.
The best $10.00 I've spent and thanks to Mda for posting the images of his 450L with the 500 LG fitted.
