Servos Align DS410M

After coming back from holiday, got sorted and got round to my first flight for a long time on my 450 pro v2.

Did my normal checks to find I had a twitchy pitch servo??

It was flying well before the holiday but has developed a twitch after sitting for 3 weeks??

I have 3 new 415m,s to fit so a good excuse for new parts

Not investigated/stripped it yet, just wondering if any of you have come across a similar situation ??

Yup, it's a common issue with that servo. What it is, is the pot is dirty. Unlike the larger servos, the DS410M has an open pot and dirt and crap gets in there. You can use a Q-Tip and some alcohol to clean it then put a slight bit of dielectric grease in there to cure the issue for a while. But the DS415M servos are a much better option.

Thanks Tony. I have the new servos to fit so will do that. Just thought it a bit strange

Look over the 415s well had a few that had bad play at center and they were brand new
