Projects A Chrismast Present To My Self

Boring weather, rainy, dark, a bit cold and windy every day, today the first real snow came. Training heli flying and planes on the SIM. I have never flown a RC aircraft and try to be able to handle CP helis. My real experiance on helis is limited to FP.
Working on a CUB but it will take some time to get it airborne (mainly due to electrical), my helis are waiting for better weather.
When googling around general RC I stumbled over the Hacker Kinetic to a quite fair price from Germany (4 day delivery time). So, why not, I bouught it beliving I would bring it out of the box, add a RX, battery and fly
But, being me, I needed to do some changes when it arrived.
Since the "compartment" (FWD wing) for battery and RX was quite tight I moved RX AFT wing and and also added an old rate gyro (no HH) to the ailerons (gyro placed aft). Might help the noob at start and land in wind. This will also help to keep the CG since I will use bigger batteries ( more heavy) than "stock recommended"
Hacker say 500 mha 25C but I plan to use 850 mha 25C since I already have some of them and after the "rebuild" I get them to fit.
SOMEDAY, I hope, I will get all my fleet airborne but anyway I enjoy the challange of changing and building!

I have attached some pics of the Hacker and also the Cub I am working on.

Take Care Out There!
