450 450X haunted by Lynx slant gear 'upgrade = total frustration!!

I bought into the idea of upgrading my blade 450X w/ the Lynx aftermarket main gear, 12T pinion, & the motor mount as a complete set

Problem is, the mesh is so tight the ESC shuts down- it's happened in mid- flight several times- because the friction the mesh creates runs it so hot the systems fail!

There's probably an easy fix to this, but as logical as perhaps even Spock could be, I can't figure out what else to do, besides all the adjustments I've made to try make this new setup function properly

I even filed the motor mount holes in the frame just a little bit for extra room -- & no dice..

SOS!

There should be some kind if elongated holes just for this reason. It might be easier to elongate the carbon fiber instead of the mount. The only way to fix this issue is to adjust the mesh. I would take some measurements of the stock main gear and aftermarket and see his far off it is. Then contact the vendor and address the issue. It could be a faulty part.
