FBL Gyro 3gx cable

hey there.. I'm a new member been learning from R/C help on youtube for quite some time now .I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a 3gx data cable i have a Micro Mini. ZH 1.5 4-Pin JST Connector and a 3g data cable .is there anything special that has to be done or can i just cut off the 3g connector and replace it with the Micro Mini. ZH 1.5 4-Pin JST Connector

As long as you have the correct dongle for the computer software, and the correct plug for the gyro, you should be able to make something. There is nothing special about the wire other than there are 4 of them.

ok thank you ..i just read something about one of the wires not being used .but i dont know why

I do believe that is correct. There are 5 pins on the 3GX, but only 4 wires being used. I would double check this, but all of my stuff is in storage and not accessible right now.

all good ..i stumbled on this ......Align 3GX Data Cable...... - Page 2 only 3 out of 4 pins being used ? 3gx has 4 in and out
