I can change all my governor settings through the BX on site, without the programming box or anything else. Just the small manual to check settings choices - one of the reasons why I use the BX's governor option.

I have the 60A Platinum V4 and the HW programme box but still handed the governor control & programming over to my AR7210BX. I am very happy with the outcome but I imagine it is one of those choices that comes down to personal preference - 'different strokes for different folks' and all that!

You might also need to check your Gyro settings on the Tx which you should have assigned to your Gear channel 6. Mine is fine with Heading Hold at 55% but better at 65% for higher end headspeeds - Tail Gain dial on the BX left at the factory default of 50%(halfway). Hope I am not telling you...

You set it up for electric too - options N in the Set-Up Menu. Red LED for 'electric heli' option. The AR7210 internal governor works just as well as the Hobbywing's, I've discovered - very smooth and precise.

Just stay with a good quality conventional electric soldering iron designed for electronic work - a lot simpler all round and you are likely to get more consistent results once you have practiced with it enough.

I can thoroughly recommend the SkyRC iMax B6 mini charger which I have been using for a few years now. Good quality, thoroughly reliable and comes at a reasonable price. You need to make sure that you are getting a SkyRC original though and not one of the many cheaper clones.

A metal epoxy & a throw away conventional allen key, works quite well for the smaller or 'difficult to get to' ones. Needs to be left over night though for the epoxy to cure and harden thoroughly.
