    Motors Head speed

Nice controlled flying in a tight space. She seems to have enough headspeed.

    700 Goblin 770 Comp

Yes most of the Align helis use them. I got the idea from my Trex 600.

    700 Goblin 770 Comp

Those 3000 packs would fly it, but it would be a bit tail heavy, and the flights quite short. But better than only having one flight! - - - Updated - - - Here's a little trick that might be useful for owners of 630, 700 and 770 Goblins... The canopy on the Goblin is held only by two quick...

    700 Goblin 770 Comp

While these big helis might be bit intimidating at first, to actually fly they are easier than smaller helis. The best way I can describe it is like flying in a slow motion replay, everything happens more slowly and smoothly. That's why i like them! I've been tweaking the 770. The tail hold was...

    Servos OT payed off

Nice! It makes the hard work easier to bear when you have an objective in mind. A few weeks ago i spent some time working offshore in the North Sea and that was a lot easier to take because i bought myself a KDS Agile 7.2 on the proceeds... a used one but even so, a nice reward.

New Action Camera about hit the market.

Lee, Thanks for taking the time to address my concern. i'm a sceptical 'so and so' but often my scepticism is proved right! It's very reassuring that there is an established business behind the camera, and that the guy owning the business takes onboard these comments. Hopefully it will help...

    450 Align 450L build

I think a lot of problems with stripped screws is due to using cheap hex keys. Stripping out the heads used to be a common occurance for me until I invested in a set of quality hex keys. The previous owner sure made a mess of it, I hope you got it cheap!

250 Gaui X3. With castle edge and neo

I've got a Spirit Pro in my Goblin 630, it's the FBL I'd recommend. Flies great and has all the latest features such as rescue and stability modes right out of the box. Setup is maybe not quite as intuitive as some controllers but it's not bad, and there is good support available on the Spirit...

New Action Camera about hit the market.

That looks really good, and amazing value. My only concern (and it's a big one) would be ordering a product that's never been seen in the flesh from a business I've never heard of. Call me cynical but I cant help but worry about the prospect of whoever is behind it ether running off with the...

FBL Gyro Align 3GX Flybarless System

ok, that explains it.. You need the 'Pro' upgrade for Vplane but not the additional 'Pro Rescue' (unless you want rescue function for the plane presumably?) thanks. I still think it's bordering on unethical to sell a product with half it's features disabled and then make you pay to turn on the...

250 Gaui X3. With castle edge and neo

I think Tattu is the product line targeted at multirotor users, and Gens-Ace label focusses on 'regular' fixed wing and heli flyers.. But it's all part of the same business. As i mentioned in the other thread, you can't program the Neo with a cellphone or tablet or any other wireless device...

FBL Gyro Align 3GX Flybarless System

No, there is no ability to adjust gain independantly of bank switching from a 3rd party Tx on the Neo. The only way to adjust gain 'in flight' is by having different values set in different banks and switch banks. You used to be able to do gain adjustment with the 'old' Vbar but Mikado took away...

FBL Gyro Align 3GX Flybarless System

Probably drifting wayyyy of thread topic but personally I'd not recommend the Neo to anyone that didn't plan to also go with Vcontrol. Problem being that Mikado removed Bluetooth support from the neo so field tuning to non-Vcontrol users requires hook up of a laptop by USB. Also any form of...

FBL Gyro Align 3GX Flybarless System

I've used several Kbars both 'mini' and the 'full size' versions. They have all performed faultlessly and I've never experienced a loss of settings. The only issue I'm aware of (though never experienced personally) is the odd one turning up 'DOA'. With clones you do have to accept that there...

FBL Gyro Align 3GX Flybarless System

Have you got the 3GX powered (by battery or BEC) and connected to a receiver, and bound to the transmitter? If you don't have it powered up and bound then it will 'play dead'. I used to use 3GX's myself but these days I've found there are much better options. If money is tight and if you...

Prop Extreme Flight Edge 540T 48"

4s 4000mah would be too heavy, at least if you had any intentions of flying 3D. You would also not be able to get a good CG because the battery cant slide back very far due to the wing joiner tube.

Prop Extreme Flight Edge 540T 48"

As above, it will spin a 14x7 prop but you need to watch the amps, you can easily exceed the 45A ESC rating. Many run them that way and the ESC seems to cope ok even when it does go over it's official rating a little. 13x6.5 is 'safer' but a bit underpowered.

    700 Goblin 770 Comp

I've not been getting much flying in lately due to constant storms sweeping in but here's another flight of the 770 at low headspeed (1700RPM).. This heli doesn't need high RPM to fly well:

700 Synergy 766, the wait is over

Nice heli but she's had a severe beating from the ugly stick! Seems like the designer was watching too many Transformers movies:facepalm: Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder so some might think it looks great..
