Pictures you say? Have I got pictures!!

That's really slick Rodney, a very professional looking paint scheme. Take care of it now, no crashing! PS.. I see you have had your signature 'hacked';)

    450 X3 trouble shooting time

I have a similar Scorpion in my Chase 360, it performs very well. I've got a couple of larger Scorpion motors in my bigger helis too and they are also good, they tend to run quite hot but produce lots of power. I did a rewind on a Scorpion on a fixed wing plane a while back that turned out...

None of these touch the lacquer, i've tried them all. But yeah, the motor looks like it's burned out.

    250 Tail strike 270 cfx

Mikker, By 'con rod' I'm assuming you are talking about the pushrod that goes between the servo and the tail pitch control arm? If so then I'm pretty sure that this wont be included. You will be able to use the original one, or if that's busted you will need to buy a replacement separately...

You could try the Aspirin trick, it's certainly worth a go. I've never tried it myself but others tell me it works. just watch out for the fumes.

Uri, Sorry that you are still having trouble. for what it's worth the Castle Governor usually works well enough. I've used a few Castles in governor mode and other than having to set gain to low they work ok. As for the motor wires. You should never cut back the wires on a brushless motor*...

With the Castle ESC i usually use the default '5' timing too. Higher tends to run hotter.

    Cases My Custom Made Charger

So are we talking about building an actual charger, or a 'charger case' that takes a standard charger such as a Powerlab or iCharger? By the way Nade, your Youtube video is private so only you can see it.

    General Trex 450

I dont think the Flymentor is still being sold is it?... maybe some places still have old stock. The new generation of flybarless controllers with self leveling should render it very much obsolete I'd have thought. Unless as said already you have a flybar heli and dont want to move to flybarless.

    General i need serious help

Hi Keith, Is the software on the 9X / 9XR similar to the Taranis (Open Tx based)? As a long time Spektrum user I did try a Taranis but I found the software very hard to get to grips with. I'm sure if I'd persevered I'd have got there in the end, but I'm in the hobby to fly not to learn computer...

General Trex 450 Replacement Parts Question (crash repair)

Good to hear that you got the 450 sorted out and flying again. It certainly looks like you have enough building work to keep you busy for a while. I'd not worry about flying the bipe, they fly just like a monoplane really. The hardest thing about them is the extra building/assembly complexity...

    Other VControl Setup info

I may be wrong here because I know nothing about the Neo governor.. But if i read it right you are not actually using governor. You are simply using three fixed ESC PWM duty cycle % outputs (30%, 40& and 50%) this is just like a flat line throttle curve in a conventional non-governed system...

    Other VControl Setup info

Uri, Are you using the Neo governor or the Castle ESC internal governor? If you are using the Castle governor in 'set RPM' mode then the throttle % you need to activate your three preset headspeeds are 30%, 70% and 100% (not 30, 50 and 70). Also 3.4V per cell is a bit on the high side and...

    450 X3 trouble shooting time

Yeah, it's hard to go back one you fly the bigger helis. Though I like flying the Chase 360 the big ones are always the first into the back of the car.
