Servos Align Ds 620 tail servo.

I'm trying to figure out some specks on my tale servo. It's a Align DS 620. What I need to know is, What the Hz of the servo is my list goes from.

Digital 760us 333 Hz
Digital 760us 570 Hz
Digital 1520us 125 Hz
Digital 1520us 165 Hz
Digital 1520us 270 Hz
Digital 1520us 333 Hz

I can tell you this! It can't be any of the 760us's cause those settings won't work the servo correctly. It will however work on any of the 1520us settings. So anyone know what's what? I have to enter it in my NAZA settings.

I'm at a loss at the moment. I think I have the NAZA programmed. But not sure. I would think that when in Manuel mode. It should work has before but it isn't. I'm thinking that the NAZA is still controlling it. Tomorrow if its not raining or snowing I'll take it outside to program the compass in the gaps and see what happens then.

Go to

-= BEASTX - BE ABSOLUTE STABLE =-

Select English and software version (say 3).. That's a pretty comprehensive list of servos and specs.. Values are servo specific.. Led's are beastx specific :) so you can ignore those..

Yep the beastX servo list is very comprehensive. I used it for my warp to find the Savox details.

Renamed this thread from "Tale" to "Tail". We tell a lot of stories on here, but I'm pretty sure you were talking about the tail servo on a heli lmao.

Dam apple spell check! Lol. Tony which servo are you using for a throttle servo? I forgot. I think you said a DS620 but not sure. More in my research for my next project.

You are correct, the DS620 on the throttle, 610's on the cyclic, and as you already know since you bought it, the DS655 on the tail.

Is there an advantage to using that good if a servo on the throttle? I've read pros and cons about it. Some say just use a cheep servo on the throttle. Some say with a gov to use a tail servo. What's your opinion? Is it worth the $67.99 for that servo? My 600 uses that one for the tail servo and DS 610's on the cyclic!

You want at least a .10 speed on the throttle, preferably faster when you are using a Gov. That way, there is no delay when the Gov is trying to adjust the throttle to keep the heli at a steady rpm. If I was to do it again, I would use the 620 again if not something a little faster. But, don't go below the 615 on the throttle.

620-615 about the same price anyways. I would rather stick with all align if I go ahead with this project I'm thinking about. Not that a Jr or Heltic or futaba would not work. I just don't know much about the other brands.

Funny, I just looked up both servo specs. The 615 has better specs than the 620 and is $10.00 cheeper! Hmmmm.

Throttle needs to be at least as fast or faster than cyclic :) for responsiveness when you punch cyclic.. And governor to perform well
