I am updating this thread since it is kind of coming off the wrong way now days. Back in 2012 when I first created this thread, posting here in the lounge was a horrible issue and we could hardly keep up with it. If you can read through the strikethrough text below, you will understand. But today in 2018, we don't have near the issue so here are the new rules for this section.

This section is still for Off Topic Chat Only. With that said, I understand that every now and then things get put in the wrong place, I do it and don't even realize I did it, so it happens to the best of us. If this happens, just post up in your thread that you need the staff to move the thread to a more appropriate section, and we will take care of it.

No longer are we forced to actually delete any threads that were mistakenly posted in the lounge. Again, it is no where near the problem were were facing back in 2012. Just try to make sure you are posting in the correct section of the forum and if you are not sure where that is, make a post where you think you should post and if we find a better place, we will move it and let you know. But please, definitely keep Help Related Questions out of the lounge as this is a section where we have fun and talk about anything but Rc Tech Related Questions.

This section is NOT for help! If you post a question or thread in this section that belongs somewhere else in the forum, we will just delete it. We have spent over an hour moving over 50 threads out of this one section! We will not take the time to do this anymore and we will just delete the threads. Come on everyone, the lounge is for off topic chat ONLY, not to ask for help. If this section keeps getting abused, I will just delete the whole section and this forum will be for help only and no off topic chat. We can't sit on here for hours just moving threads every day. Help us out everyone!

What if you wish to post a generic topic that might cover several areas of the hobby, or does not fit one sub-catagory, i.e. something that covers all size helis?

It's all good bro. Everyone has to learn sometime. When I posted this, there were over 20 threads in this section that should have been elseware in the forum and we had to move all of the threads. Right now, the members are doing great in putting the threads where they belong.

Hi Tony; This is BOKI maybe Somehow Point Out to new people go down to AIRPLANES OR HELICOPTERS click on it and you are where your suppose to be to ask your questions on your Plane or Helicopter! When your first on the site I never realized THIS! Put a flashing or something for go to Beginner might solve the problem! Don't know its your site & our site so its maybe could help the problem !

Hey Ken, it's all good bro. Back when we posted this here in the lounge, we were getting 50+ posts a week in this section for help instead of people posting in the help section below this one. This forum is just for off topic chat about pretty much anything and everything. Just have fun, that is what the hobby is all about

Want to bump this up so that everyone reads it. Read the first post please. We are starting to get a LOT of question back in the off topic lounge and as you know, we don't allow any tech questions in this section. We have a dedicated help (tech) section for that reason. I want to thank all of those that follow the rules, you have helped keep this a very clean and friendly forum.

I just wanted to say hi to Tony and happy new year to everyone. I have not been on the site for a while. It has been a very busy month just had a birthday in December( happy birthday to me LOL) I just turned the big forty-seven, but wanted to let everyone know that I am back online with many questions. I think I call myself the problem child of the site LOL.

So I will talk to everyone soon I am going to go and head over to the help lounge to see if I can get some questions answered again, happy new year to everyone.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not been on in a long time I was on vacation in bubai it was a long plane ride, twelve hours but it was worth it. My wife's sister lives there, we stayed with her and I have to say I had a great time.

I never been out of the country. So this was a first for me, but am back in just wanted to say hello to Tony and everyone on the site . I still have a lot a helicopter questions and I will be asking. So again, I just wanted to say hello and I hope to hear from everyone soon.

On the topic of prefixes... Tri-copter, quad-copter, hexa-copter, octo-copter. Why quad copter instead of tetra-copter? Tetra sounds way cooler.

Hi Paul, just wanted to say thank you for the welcome back, and maybe you can help me with something I am still little lost when it comes to posting threads I need to post a thread on help for fixing a 450 dyanm helicopter. Should I be going to the beginners help area? I need a video on how to fix a rudder. I crashed my 450 and it bent the whole pipe I managed to replace the pipe, but am terribly lost on the rudder. So again thank you for the welcome back and if you can help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it.

You can post that question in either the beginner help area (which is pretty much a catch-all for helicopter help) or you can put it in the 450 section just under the beginner help section. Hope this helps.
