Shoot I had a motor back off the main gear while in flight. I didn't use enough thread locker on the motor fasteners.

I think anyone that has been flying for any length of time has had that happen. Not fun to say the least. Definite pucker factor when you hear that screech of the pinion stripping out the main gear and you realize you have to auto right where you are lol.

I was in Korea when it happened. It happened twice. You would have thought I would have learned.

Oh and then there was the time when i spooled it up and the blades shot off because the fasteners backed out.

I had a blade fly off my self. It was caused, i think, by a past crash and didn't notice a hair line crack on the blade by the blade holder. Scared the wife since it went zipping by her. Til this day she stays far away from me. That's all it took...should off done it sooner LMAO.

Hi guys!
Ok I reversed the tail blades and flipped the belt last night. Today I took her out for a test flight. As soon as the skids left the grass; major pucker factor boys! She spun like a whirling dervish; oh jeezo man..
Hummm, I see I need to reverse the rudder servo. Test #2,, well the nose is moving correctly now but she's still spinning bad.

Ok; what the devil is going on here... Think man!
I wonder if I move the tail the blades will move in the right direction? Ah haaa!!! What's this? The gyro compensation needs to be revered as well.. Now she flies great again! Excellent!!!
Thanks again guys!

Thanks buddy!
And I wish I had a real video camera. The one I have really doesn't show much.
My older bro and nephew have good cameras but I need to get their asses over here at the right time; HA!

Yea, sorry about that, I thought I mentioned that you need to reverse everything when you flip the blades. Glad it's still in one piece.

Apology excepted captain Neida...……..
Nah, nah, I'm glad you didn't! It gave me a chance to use what I've learned. To be able to figure out what the problem is and correct it quickly makes me feel great! I'm a learning boys! Thanks to you guys...
