I have mine on vcontrol and a governor. I run the Vbar Neo governor .

You probably should run a governor on it or run v curves. Your v curve will need to be set at an output value that will achieve the desired head Speed . For instance lets st you want 2000 rpm and at that head you need 80% throttle. Then your v curve will be at 80 80 75 80 80.

I run a 0 25 50 75 100 pitch curve because that what the Vcontrol and Vbar neo use for all 3 IU settings.

Back when I first starting fly in my IU 1 bank would be 45 47 50 75 100. My other 2 IU banks would be 0 25 50 75 100.

Let us know what FBL unit you have and if your running a governor. For head speeds on a governor I would shoot for 1800 2000 2200 for your IU banks or if you like higher heed speeds then I would go 2000 2200 2400. Pro pilots will run around 2700 max. I use the lower set on a 12s 3000 or 3300 set up And net between 6.5 and 7.5 minutes at the 1800 head Speed. If you go to 2500 don't expect more that, maybe5 minutes of flight time.

If you are going to run a governor, set your throttle curves to match the RPM you want to use.

Pitch settings, set them linear. If you want a normal mode with limited negative pitch you can do what URI posted above, but I use 46 48 50 75 100. My OCD says it's more logical lmao.

For throttle curves not using a governor, set Normal to 0 70 70 70 70, iu1 to a flat 83 and iu2 to a flat 95. This will allow you to put in a little V Curve if you notice some bogging on collective pitch pumps.

Thanks for the help .I didn't buy a FBL yet .I'm still building it just put servo in .I'm looking at Spektrum AR 7210 unit .

I am not to overly familiar with that unit. Tony did a series on it and that should get it flying. If you run a hobby wing then the internal governor will be an excellent choice for a governor. It's almost a set and forget deal.

Are you talking about the AR7200BX? Or are you talking about putting a separate Rx on a flybarless gyro? If so, what gyro are you going to go with?

The hibbywing gov sto feature is what you can use to set the governor. Almost set and for get. Just read the manual on how to do It.
