Dude! This Sucks!!!

I moved out of my old house about 5 years ago (in Oct it will be 5 years) and in Dec it will be 5 years that I have lived in my new house. During all of that time I have never 'really' unpacked all of the boxes that I had for all of the computer and RC stuff that I have. If I needed something, I just looked through the boxes until I found it. In the case of the monokote iron, over a year it took to find it lol.

Well when I came home off the road Thursday, the wife had, right in the middle of the living room, 4 of those 3 drawer storage bins. My first though was "that is not going to be enough storage for everything I have in boxes"... But they are here so I might as well use them. I can stack them 3 high so I really need two more. So right now I have 12 drawers now but can definitely use a lot more. Hell, maybe I need 5 more units lol.

One tool that I have been looking for is my crimpers to make ethernet cables. Well guess what, it was right in the box where I left it as were the tiny bits for my little multi-screw driver. Found that as well lol.

The issue is, I have so many cables for computers and such that I can fill all of these with just that crap. Then there is all of the little bits for RC that I have collected over the years that were actually under the flaps in the bottom of the boxes. Just thinking about sorting all of that out has me stressing lol.

So what is what I'm doing today.... If you have them, post up some pictures of your storage solutions for your RC Hobby!!!

I always start off with good intentions, but as you can see by the junk around the draws I always end up with more than I can store.

lol, I know exactly what you mean! I have worked all day on that room and have just barely made a dent in it... I have way more crap than any single human should own...

Yea, I deal in pretty much everything. What is in the storage bins right now is just stuff that has collected over the years. I have other stuff (again, in more friggin boxes lol) out in the old studio that I need to go through. But at anywhere from $7.00 to $15.00 for each unit, it ads up very quickly.

I`m kinda in the same boat. I still have two TSA 600 airframes, and a ton of TSA 600 and 700 parts lying around...and I haven`t flown for TSA Model for four years..LOL. Not to mention a Synergy N9 and a Synergy N5. I haven`t run out of room yet, so I still have a few years left to pile it up I suppose. :D

Anyone reading/following perhaps the accumulation of storage and space should PROCEED parts, copters, kits hahahahahahahaahahhahaahaah
That would be more proactive and the proper way to approach these situations. It seems most of us seem to be reactive to the situation that 'sneaks' up on us lmao.

Never make the mistake of adding up the value of the parts you have sitting around just in case you crash.
I know I have a couple of thousand dollars worth, and the worst of it is normally when I sell a helicopter I throw the parts in the deal.
Don't ask about Tools , gauges or meters they also add up but at least they can normally be used for several models.

I could probably build 3-4 micro 4 channels myself with accumulated parts, Transmitters be extra (I can find em low ends at $8.00). I admire the fact of adding parts to deal, I will have to take that in if I sell.

OMG, I have not even gotten to the tools. I have done a LOT of reviews on tools, and I thought this aluminum tool tray would work for everything. MAN WAS I WRONG!!!! And spare parts... I have a few, but used up most of them lmao. Flying? Yea, that is what happened BEFORE I needed the parts lmao.
