I have a multi-protocol Tx on the way just for this reason. Should be here in about a week or so. The only thing I'm worried about is the size of it. It's pretty small.

I hope it is as good as the 8FG. The price is scarry to me. Please let us know if it works and for how long.

I can say this, it is NOT a Futaba or the quality. But, it is a Tx to get someone started in the hobby.

I use the Taranis X9D and love it.
With a bit of messing around in the software you can achieve almost anything you want.
Whatever you are trying to do, someone else has surely already done it and can help you out.
I also hear very good reports about the QX7.

Good to hear Stambo, I see the QX7s is out as well. I'll look at both in January. I'm sure I'll have questions as I embark on the FrSky journey.

Thanks,
Dino

My FrSky QX7s arrived yesterday. Now I have to learn how to program the darn thing. :beguiled:

Time to do some more research.

I have the taranis. I have not flown with it yet but I like the programming. It reminds me of the old airtronics RD8000. When they came out everyone said they were a nightmare to program. I loved mine, to me it was easier than the other big brands. It also has a cooler old school look to it not the black plastic blob look. If you get one and learn it I think you will be into it.
