Quad Eachine QX95 Thread

I have had a lot of questions on youtube about this little quad so I thought I would create a thread just for this little guy. If you have any questions, issues or comments you would like to post in here, post up. I will also be adding some new videos on this quad with some known issues and their solution in the near future. Unfortunately, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have a lot to do otherwise I would make a couple videos tonight!

Post up any and all of you questions on this little quad. I have to say, I love this thing! lol. And I have the 80mm on the way.

If anyone is thinking about getting this quad, I need you to do me a HUGE favor. When you FIRST RECEIVE IT I need a stock CLI dump. Just click on CLI in cleanflight, type in dump and hit enter. Once you have the dump, copy all text and paste it into a notepad file and save it. Then, put it into a .zip folder and upload it here to this thread. There is something that I'm trying to do and I can't get my quad to do it again without the stock file loaded to it.

If you already have a bone stock file (I have looked everywhere on the net), then please upload it here. There were a couple out there that I thought was stock, but turns out they had already made changes. I know this because the stock max throttle is set to 1860 and everyone is turning it up or they are on flysky or something. This quad has an issue on DSM where it will not go to 2000 which is what I'm trying to figure out. So if you have this file, please upload it here.

Hey there Tony. I should be able to help you out next week. I will be purchasing that quad this coming Friday. I'm getting it from GraysonHobby located in Georgia. So I should be able to get it by the middle of next week. When it comes in, I'll give you howler if you haven't got the situation taken care of by then.

I just received my goggles, Eachine 007, on Monday so the quad is next to order with different antenna.

Sweet deal. As posted, just connect it, go into CLI and type dump and hit enter. Copy everything and paste it into a notepad and zip it then upload it. Please do this BEFORE you bind it.

Did you order, or are you going ot order the DSM version? Because that makes a difference so I found out lol.

Yes sir I'm ordering the BNF/DSM2 receiver, this one Eachine Tiny QX95 95mm Micro FPV LED Racing Quadcopter Based On F3 EVO Brushed Flight Controller Sale - Banggood.com. I was going to order from GraysonHobby but they dont have the DMS2 version, just FlySky.
So I wrote all the information down and I can do that for you before the bind. I have one question already. Will these antenna work for that quad and Eachine 007 goggles? FOXEER 5.8G Circular Polarized Omni TX RX Antenna RHCP - RPSMA - Green (New Version) - FPV Antennas - FPV Racing and beside prop protector and spare props, what else will I might need to get me going?

You can't change the antenna on teh quad. And in all reality, it's a 4 lobe circular polarized antenna and it gets quite good range for 25mw. For the goggles, I would highly suggest the Aomway antennas. They are very good and strong for the price. Just make sure to get the RHCP and RP-SMA ones for those goggles.

And if you are going to order from banggood, can you do Rc-Help a HUGE favor and order after clicking on the link in the description? It will help us to get more product in the future and I'm trying to get more high quality items, but I have to start at the bottom. So clicking on that link will help us to get to the higher tier.

Yeah, I know what you mean about waiting a month to get it through BangGood . I e-mailed GraysonHobby last night to see if they can order me this QX95 BNF/DMS2 version instead of the FlySky version. I hope they can. I don't see why not but either way I'll let you know where I order the quad from. An issue with this quad huh.... maybe I shouldn't order this quad to begin with til this issue is resolved

Not an issue as long as you remove your props and lower your throttle before binding. And if they can get the QX95 without a Rx, then I will shoot a video on how to use a spektrum satellite Rx. there are dedicated ports on the board just for that satellite.

Oh, OK! If I can handle removing the blades on my heli when I'm working on them. I can also remove the prop from the quad before binding, not an issue when it comes to safety. By the way Tony, I found this antenna like you mention and want to know if this antenna will work. AOMWAY 5.8G 3dBi Four Lobe RHCP VTx/VRx Antenna Multimotor RPSMA - FPV Antennas - FPV Racing

Hey Mr Tony, you're are in luck . I received an email from GraysonHobby letting me know that they do have a QX95 BNF/DSM2 version and they're only two left . So my better half whip out the plastic money and bought the quad for me as an early Christmas present . Now, neither one of us have to wait a month for the quad lol. I'll touch base with you again.

Hi Tony, here is my dump file, the only thing done after receiving QX95 is in configuration menu made a couple of Board Sensor adjustments and played with the LED settings, hope this helps.

Sweet deal Keith. I took a look at the file and max_throttle is set to 2000. Maybe I received a flash that was a little janky. Mine was set to 1860. And I can't remember what min_check and max_check were set at. But I do notice your min_throttle is 1080. That is interesting. And WOW your P gain is high. 80? Really? holy crap. But I see what your yaw is also 185 which I thought was an issue, but I guess not. I will plug this into my quad and see if it does what I need it to do. Thanks very much for the upload!

Nice going Keith There you go Tony, you didn't have to wait long did you. I cant wait to get my QX95. I imagine I'll have a few questions to ask, that's for sure

Small trap I fell into with charging, using the "Y" cable supplied I charged a full used battery along with an half used battery.

Warning do not do it The half used battery puffed, obviously the charger did not register a full cell and kept charging until it had over charged the half full battery.

Hope this prevents others making the same mistake.

Thank you for that information Admiral. This QX95 is going to be my first quad and I don't know much about them. So every useful information will be very helpful to a individual like my self that is clueless.
