Spektrum DX9 Video Suggestions

As you heard on YouTube, here is the thread where you can request what videos you want to see on the DX9. I encourage you to post suggestions and I will do what I can to make them happen.

This is an awesome Transmitter and I urge anyone looking for a new Tx to get the DX9. For those that are beginning, it's way more than you need, but you will never outgrow it.

I would love to see more videos on the DX9 explaining the different sections of a screen. Example the Throttle Curve screen there are the % for 1-7 but only values in 1-5. How do you add values for 6 and 7? Also usually we see in a box N 1 2 which is for normal Idle up 1 and Idle up 2. Go through how to change values for each N 1 & 2. Also what is the field called H do. I assume its for Hold with all throttle %'s at 0. But once in this should the Delay be Inh or some other value of time.

If we use 7 points for throttle should pitch also use 7 points?
Also explain what D/R and expo are?
In the Servo setup there are Travel, Sub Trim, Reverse, Speed, Abs Travel, Balance. Could you explain these.
Throttle Cut is used for what? Is this used mostly for planes or also helicopters?
I guess pretty much go through each field and explain what they are for and if available sub categories in each area. Begin with Servo Setup, D/R and Expo, Throttle Cut, Throttle curve, Pitch Curve, Swash plate, Gyro, Governor, Tail Curve, Mixing, Sequencer.

This may be more than one video can explain but if needed do a series.

Tony along with what BBJ said I would also like to see a video on the fail safe in the DX9 and how to set that up and Tony your right that DX9 is an awesome Tx i will never again use any thing else again

My Dx9 was one of the first batch and I love it so much I bought my son a DX6 which has the same software as the 9. One thing I'd like to know more about is 5 point vs 7 point curves on pitch and throttle. Not only how to add points, but put them where you want them and why one might need a 7 point curve vs 5

Hi Tony I would like to see a video on setting up the DX9 for six flight modes plus RTL for use with Pixracer and arducopter

That one may take a while to figure out. I know there is a way to map switches to each other, but I have never looked into it. And I don't have either of those models so it may be a little hard. But again, I will see what I can do.
