Heat pump looses efficiency at about 45F and starts going backwards much below 20. If not for propane, I would be in a fix. If we make it past the ice, I can deal with snow. Monday earlier they were saying 5-6" of snow... Now they are back to 1/2 to 3/4" ice/rain.... So they don't know what the heck it is going to do.  We haven't had significant snow fall since around '72. And heck yea, the c-old hurts! LOL!!! My hands are what get me. I need some heated mittens because nothing else will work for long.  BTW I was thinking of my Kingfisher because it came with skis!</blockquote>
