This allows you to connect both the network connection and power needs of a device within one wire. In this case, the POE was provided within the switch itself but you can also use an injector to provide power separate from the switch. Since Tony was powering several cameras, it was more cost efficient to use a switch with enough POE ports on it than to use separate power injectors for each.</p></blockquote><p></p>
