It will also make it hard to apply excess solder. But I cleaned up those solder bridges and removed the cap and resistor. Next, I had to find a schematic for this system, and I actually found one, but I don't think it was this exact model. The reason I say that is because on the capacitor, it said it was a 1µf 20v, but what blew up was a 100µf 16v. So I just went with what was in front of my eyes and wrote it down. The resistor is a little harder and I did have to go by the schematic and hope that is what I need. According to the schematic it is just a simple 1k ohm resistor. Cheap and easy. I put both of those in my cart and less than $5.00 later they will be on their way. Lets hope I can get it up and running. Not sure what I'm going to do with the system when I do get it going, but I would like to get it going lol. Always something going on...Oh yea, replaced the capacitors on my washing machine that were dead and leaking and now the drain pump is locking up... ugh.....</blockquote>
