Looks great. I don't know if its vibes or the camera focus, but it did loose focus on a few occasions.

Yes Lee, the camera was the biggest blame. Hard to detect what the camera was picking up as vibrations. Even on the original video. I have taken the "Auto" stuff off the camera now for the next test.
Is there any way for me to take advantage of the KK2's gyro to connect the gimbal servo through? I thought it would be stupid to buy a separate FB gyro for it.
Thanks for your input my friend.

Have an old G410t gyro connected to the gimbal servo till I can figure out a way to get the HH2 to control it. Cannon Power Shot camera is not the best for video. And not sure what the transfer to pooptube will do to degrade it even more. I made sure it did not perform video stabilization to my original file.
Flight starts at about 2:30 and stops briefly for two peeps walking through. Resumes again around 4:10.
Prior to that you can get a visual of the weather conditions and my setup of the gimbal positions pre-flight.
Here is the location, I will be in the grassy area north of the creeks bank.

Here is flight 1 today.

Flight 2, talking to the Hatcam, lol.

Flight 3 to end the battery.

Like Jimi used to say, "Gimme some feedback!"
More to come from onboard, and hat cam.

Here is the first video.

What firmware do you have on the KK2.
I believe version 1.5 and up have camera stabilisation.
And they fly much better too.

Yep if you update to 1.5 or 6 you have gimble stabilisation. I haven't used it myself yet, because i have a Martinez gimble board on there already.
And the updated firmware is far superior in keeping the quad stable. Self level is fantastic on it.

Thanks guys. I just got the Flash programmer ,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321328752756
Should be here on Thursday.
It looks like the updated software will allow the gimbal to have gyro comp by using M7 and M8 outputs.
Has to be worlds better than the G410t gyro.
Looking forward to the flight improvements too.

That looks about right. :)
You may have a few problems getting it to be recognised by windows.

Drivers and lazyzero flash program can be found HERE.

Don't bother saving your current settings, they will probably be way wrong.
Start again from scratch.

Here is an excellent tutorial by dhdsracer. He has many other tutorials on setting up KK2.

Flashing the KK2: How to update your firmware - YouTube

Any questions, just ask. I have set up several of these.
One of the more important things is to get rid of vibrations, make sure props and motors are well balanced.
I need to update my balancing video as I have developed a new addition to my laser balance method.

Thanks for the pointers there guys. I got the USB flash tool and the most recent non-beta program working great on my XP laptop.
GOt the KK upgraded to KK2.0V1.6 By KapteinKuk.
It has the camera stability support with that version. I had to run a power connection to M5 of the KK. Plug the pitch servo from the gimbal to M8 output. Then had to set the offset to +4500 to get the gimbal level and starting with a gain of 500 for now in the Pitch settings.
The action is 100x better than what I was getting with the G410t.
Will post up a test video later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the Rc-Help!

Got the pitch gimbal hooked up to the KK2.0 Flight Controller.
Now I can see the vibs of my quad.

A better test of the pitch gimbal controlled by the KK2.0 board.
I flew with auto leveling on for the first 1/3 of the flight while I was trying to capture a full 360 of the flight area. And then at the 5:17 mark I lost orientation while trying to get the park into cameras eye. Luckily I plugged in the lights and saw the red tail lamps.
The green area to my left is our usual flight field, between the picnic table and the soybean fields. For your orientation, the little pond is West of where I am standing. The Buick in the parking lot to my right is North.
The Sony Bloggie Camera is working OK for now.

And my location today,
Google Maps

I have some Hat Camera videos of the 130x with 2 successful elevator flips. Finding out that my lipos are fine for in the living room, but lack the C's for outside.

There will also be a video of the 300x struggle in process. My lower headspeeds or my lower D/R settings were not helping in todays winds.

Hat Cam video of first portion of flight till battery crapped out.
