I found this to be very interesting. Have not tried it but supposedly it works.

For those who don't want to watch youtube right now...ahem...
MUST have betaflight 3.4 to do this. You have to have an F4 or F7 FC. You need to have your rx connected to the FC. It must be powered by the FC whilst being plugged into the USB. If not will have to use a lipo. Rx must be bound to the Tx. Plug FC into the computer and open betaflight. in CLI type set usb_hid_cdc = on. Then when you are done either leave it as is or if you plan to fly the quad that the FC is installed in type in CLI set usb_hid_cdc = off.
