Ok how? Lol Now that I think about it there is a camera gimbal menu in the program. I'll have to look.

I just look at my manual. Yes there is support for a two axis gimbal in there! Lol.

You just saved me about $100.00 or so. Give or take.

I had my first gimble hooked up that way. Works pretty good.
But now I am going with a brushless gimble.
I moved my ball to the rear and moved my camera 4" more to the front.
So my GoPro 3 should have a clear view.
Here is a video of my first gimble...

Well my gimbal experiment failed! I had to mount the gimbal off the front of my QAV. The way the mounting holes were, I had to make an adapter braket! It just sat there and shook while in the air. Video was useless! Ender up taking it off and mounting the camera like it was oridinaly. Oh Well!! Just wasted $50 bucks!

The way that the roll meconizium is mounted. It's mounted right on the servo horn. Not stiff enough to hold it steady. It just sits there and viberates while in the air.

Can you post a pic or two of your gymbal. Don't want the same sort of thing to happen to me when I get this quad build started. Thanks and cheers.

Yes you can see why your getting vibrations. the vibes would be magnified by the time they get to the outer edge. not sure how you would overcome that without adding more weight.
