General TRex500 Maiden flight

Hey, exciting times ! I've just had my maiden hover on the TRex500E. Rudder and gyro all sorted. 3GX V5 seems hundreds.

I'll tone down some of the controls and go again tomorrow.

I do get a drift left and backwards. Am I correct in saying that this cannot be adjusted with the Tx trims ? I'll have to go back into setup ?

That's interesting My 600 with the 3gx was doing the same?? on spool up it was tipping backwards? I re-did set up and the tail was spinning anti-clockwise.

I reflashed it to 2.1 same thing. I have flashed it to 5 again and am waiting for the rain to stop test it (Day 2 of rain)

Hey Mike,

Congrats on the flight of the 500. Do NOT use trims on a flybarless unit. The best is to redo the setup.

I also found V5 to be streets ahead of the previous units.
