While at the LHS today to pick up a pair of orange flybar paddles for my 250, I was informed that a patron had an Align 250, complete except for gyro, for $150. I called the individual and he informed me that it was actually a clone, but that it was in really good condition and had Align parts used for replacements when needed. I'm thinking about picking it up once I get more info (types of servos, motors, reciever, etc).
He said that it flew very nicely, but that the 250 was too fast for him and he was getting a bigger bird. Not sure if I really need another 250, but this seems like a pretty good deal. If I end up picking one up, I'll post additional details and photos in case anyone has an interest, otherwise I might just give it as a gift to my younger brother who is trying to graduate from fixed pitched helis.
